After stabilizing his physical situation, and rebuilding our finances, we were ready to down size. However, I was unable to figure out a way to do this as the work it needed was overwhelming. The house had multiple projects both big and small that needed to be done, and 20 years of accumulated stuff needed to be tossed out. We started getting offers to sell the house “as is”.
