The lyrics to yesterday’s Facebook challenge were: “remind me that we’ll always have each other, when everything else is gone.” These lyrics come from the song “Dig” from the band Incubus. Today Erik reminds us with the help of that song, and some other helpful props, that what’s most important at the end of each day is that we will always have each other.

My junior partner just said I look like Barney today in this sweater – she’s fired! Alright, hey Erik Ulvog with myPro Realty and Wisconsin Home Guys. Shout out to Todd Little, very good buddy of mine and also a great client of the firm. He correctly answered yesterday’s challenge question and contest. He won two free tickets to Summerfest which is going to be in September of this year. I’m totally jacked. Congratulations Todd. He correctly identified Incubus as the name of the band and then also the name of the song was ‘Dig.’ That is my segue into Friday’s lesson, so here we go here’s Friday’s lesson. Are you guys ready?
This, is a $200 bottle of Dom Perignon. Yes, I found that somewhere in my basement. I thought it was a nice contract next to this $0.89 bottle of Miller Lite. This is my bird hunting gun. For you gun geeks out there, it’s a 12-gauge Weatherby. This, whether you pay $0.89 or $200, will give you a false sense of happiness for a very short period of time, or a false sense of stress relief. This will give you a false sense of security.
In the Incubus song, and Austin is going to post a link to on here to YouTube so you can go listen to it. The lyrics are fantastic. But, the last portion of the chorus says this awesome thing, it says: “remind me that we’ll always have each other when everything else is gone.” Remind me that we’ll always have each other when everything else is gone. So my suggestion this weekend, my encouragement to you, is don’t invest yourself into false sense of security or false sense of happiness or whatever. Invest yourself into each other. Because these things can easily go away, but all we have is one another. And I think, if we stick together, that we’re going to get through this in an incredible way.
I’ve got a special surprise coming for y’all on Saturday, tune in for that. It’s not going to be the cool production material you see here with the help of Austin Burlage. But God Bless everybody, and I can’t wait to see you next week.
